Art X Detroit welcomes Jane Chu, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, for a public conversation with The Kresge Foundation President & CEO Rip Rapson. Moderated by Juanita Moore (President & CEO, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History), Jane and Rip will discuss why the arts matter and the critical role arts, culture, and creativity play in restoring and animating communities across the country, including Detroit.

UPDATE: Due to scheduling conflicts, this conversation will take place from 1:30-2:30PM, not 12-2PM as listed in the AXD program.
